Mountain Num Ri is a beautiful mountain which is located North-West from Baruntse at Hunku Valley .Num Ri is a most popular and naturally beautiful mountain in Nepal . It is an altitude at 6677 meters.
Moreover, clearly visible on the trail to Island Peak base camp via Amphu Lapcha Pass. It is a quite difficult peak compare to other at our experience but if you prefer technically, mentally and physically to climb it then you can do it. This trips start from Lukla to Advance Base Camp of Mt. Numri and same way back to Lukla. Num Ri is located North-West from Baruntse and clearly visible on the trail to Island Peak base camp. It is a difficult expedition peak, at our knowledge.
Similarly, Num Ri is a mountain in the Khumbu region of the Nepalese Himalayas. Num Ri consists of a long ridge that culminates eastwards in a pyramid summit. Num Ri was first climbed on November 7, 2002 by the German climbers Olaf Rieck, Lydia Schubert and Carsten Schmidt. Neighbouring mountains are Island Peak, Baruntse and Cho polu.
