Mountain Dhaulagiri Expedition is one of the most challenging climb up in western Himalayan rage of Nepal. Mt. Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain of the world in the North central region of Nepal in the Dhaulagiri Zone. It is lays to the north-west of Pokhara and to the east of the Annapurna Himalayas range. It is an altitude at 8167 meters.
Moreover, The Dhaulagiri name is derived from the Sanskrit word- Dhavala means white and Giri means peak is gives name white peak. Dhaulagiri justifies a magnificent peak rising as a giant shoulder of shining ice and snow. The South and West faces of Dhaulagiri both feature massive drops; each rises over 4000 meters from its base, and each has been the site of historical climbs. Exploring around Thakali village, Apple orchards; old monasteries, observing striking background of peak desert (Mustang), Dolpo range and different community with number of Magar, Bramhin and Thakali are the major fascinations of the Dhaulagiri Expedition.
Similarly, Dhaulagiri is considered the most interesting peak among the eight thousanders. Today there are more than six different routes established with variations. Dhaulagiri Expediton offers a nice trek of Dhaulagiri circuit and Annapurna Region. It is an enormous Himalayan massif, located in north central Nepal. It is technically challenging routes, only experienced climbers seem to have interest in this tough mountain.
